Christmas at Kohl's

I was in Kohl's the other day and I checked out their Christmas department.....

Take a look at these sweet ornaments....

Now don't they look like they were Blogger inspired?????

This cutie came home with me!!

Here are more pics of Kohl's Christmas department.....

I will start to decorate the upstairs in our home soon for Christmas.

I usually like to have the upstairs finished by October 31st and then I will just need to concentrate on taking Fall and Halloween decorations down and decorating for Christmas downstairs.....

I have a new white tree that I bought on Clearance last year and can not wait to put it up and decorate it. It will be going in the guest room.

Right now I have my Harvest Tree all decorated in my Living Room.....

And my Halloween Tree in my Dining Room....

Please visit my regular blog, Debbie-Dabble, to see more of my Autumn and Halloween decorations.

Pay Dirt at Sally's!

Yes,  I hit pay dirt at Sally's!!!

I went to Salvation Army today and was walking down the store long aisle of Housewares and Decor and this caught my eye!

Could I be seeing things but is that a Christmas plate mixed in with all the dishes?????

I took a closer look........

"Winter Wonderland"

And what a beauty she was!

This is what is on the back of this Christmas Collector's Plate........

Royal Windsor Christmas Carol Collection

As I glance down the aisle, I see more Christmas Collector's plates......

Be still my heart!!

Not only one but 4 of them!!!!

And the price on each is......

99 cents!!!!

WHOA!!!

This is unusual because our Salvation Army is pretty pricey at times so to find these for only 99 cents is a huge score in my book!!!

"Together at Christmas"

  1989 Avon Plate

"The Magic that Santa Brings"

 1987 Avon plate

 "Home for the Holidays"

1987 Avon plate

So don't you think I hit pay dirt at Sally's with these Christmas plates?????

I am thinking up to these great parties:

Christmas Cottage Journal 2011

Happy Belated Rudolph Day!!

I know... I missed posting on the 25th!!

Well, it was one of those weekend's where what I intended to do, didn't happen!

My oven caught fire ( small flame, no worry) but that lead to buying a new range, refrigerator and TV!!

Don't Ask...

Anyway, I got a bit behind.......

There is always next month on the 25th!!

In this post, I want to share with you last year's Christmas Cottage Journal magazine ...

I bought this in Sam's Club last year and loved it .....

I will let the pictures do the talking.....

Then there is a section of recipes after all the Decorating Themes and Ideas.

Reminds me a bit of the layout of the Spirit Of Christmas Books........

I hope you enjoyed it!

I am looking forward to this season's Christmas Cottage Journal as I now subscribe to the magazine.
